With Fall officially over, winter truly upon us. I really feel the Holiday spirits uplifting me, especially through my final weeks of class before final exams.
I am excited to present you the Peppermint Mocha palette. If you haven’t seen my previous post in this series, I posted Gingerbread Coffee last week (click here), so don’t forget to it check out!
Just for fun, I added this comic made by Adam Ellis. It made me lol 😂
The Peppermint Mocha palette come with 6 eyeshadow shades and 1 blush shade. There are 3 matte shades (Peppermint Cream, Sprinkles and Candy Cane) and 3 shimmery shades (Christmas Blend, Peppermint Mocha, and Coffee Chip). I saw shimmery shades, but I think that Sprinkles and Peppermint Mocha are more shine than shimmery while Christmas Blend is truly shimmery. Santa Baby is a standard pink blush that has lots of pigmentation, so be careful not to put on too much!
Out of all the shades, I personally like Peppermint Mocha and Christmas Blend on my skin tone. I think Peppermint Mocha looks great on the crease with Christmas Blend on the lid <3
Swatches of Peppermint Mocha
Luckily I have awesome friends, Gracelynn and Louisa, who helped me do swatches again! Louisa is an amazing fashion blogger and gives great advice on starting a successful blog, so you should follow her here!
The swatches are taken in natural indoor lighting (no flash).
A look with Peppermint Mocha Palette
Like before I am going to show you a look that came with the pamphlet. I modified the look a little by skipping step 2, Candy Cane on the center of the Lid, and skipping Peppermint Mocha on the Lower Lash line. I also added Santa Baby on the apples of my cheeks.
I hope this helps you decide if this palette is right for you! So far the Gingerbread Cookie Palette is my favorite, what’s yours?
Thank you for reading! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving weekend. <3 Please comment down below, even to say hello, and I’ll see you back here on Friday!
