Good drugstore products can sometimes be tough to find. But lately drugstore products have stepped it up with some awesome dupes! Today I’m going to share with you my top 5 FAVORITE drugstore dupes!
This is a well-known dupe, but I wanted to share it in case you haven’t heard about it! The Beauty Blender sponge is def a great makeup tool for all face makeup, but at a steep price point IMO. Although these two aren’t exact dupes, I actually prefer the Real Techniques sponge better because it is much softer and is cut differently than the Beauty Blender. The Real Techniques sponge is pointed on the top and has a diagonal cut at the bottom. This cut helps make the sponge more versatile; I blend concealer with the pointed end and the bottom cut absolutely amazing for a precise cut with setting powder.
Laura Mercier Translucent powder has been raved about everywhere online. And it is amazing! BUT I tend to use a lot of translucent powder, so this product can sometimes hurt the wallet. The Cody Airspun loose powder is great because has the same effect, but $30 cheaper! Plus, its available at your local Drugstore. This dupe is such a steal!
Maybelline Color Sensational Vivid Hot Lacquer Lip Gloss vs. Marc Jacobs Enamored Hi-Shine Lip Lacquer Lipgloss
If you’re like me, I have my fair share when it comes to what to splurge on. And usually lipgloss is not one of them. HOWEVER, if you are a lipgloss junkie and love high-shine, you are going to love this dupe! Maybelline just dropped this lacquer lip gloss and it is so pigmented and glossy! Marc Jacob’s “344” and Maybelline’s Charmer are so close in color, with Charmer a little warmer toned than 344. Both products have high coverage gloss and shine, making it a win-win situation!
When the sun comes out, all the heat and humidity creates an oily T-Zone for me! Urban Decay has been killing it with setting sprays lately, with no exception to the De-Slick setting spray. An awesome dupe for this is the Makeup Revolution Pro Fix spray targeted towards oil control. Awesome product for nearly 1/4 the price!
The beloved Too Faced Chocolate Bar is a staple loved by many for a good reason. The chocolate scent is so YUM and this palette has the perfect amount of neutral and colorful colors. If $49 breaks your bank, try Makeup Revolution’s take on the chocolate bar. Death by Chocolate has 16 shades (just like the TF Chocolate Bar) and has pretty similar shades. Similar take on chocolate without the yum choco smell and high price-tag.
