5 Easy DIY Makeup Looks You Can Create with Liquid Eyeliner

In this blog post, I received the featured product for free. All opinions in the post are 100% my own, of course.

Halloween is two weeks away and I can’t wait! As fun as this holiday is, sometimes costumes can get pricey with all the costumes, props, prosthetic items, SFX, and makeup. If you haven’t decided what you want to be or Halloween costumes seem overwhelming, no worries! Here are 5 easy do-it-yourself costumes that you can achieve with just eyeliner.

1. Kitty Cat

Who doesn’t love cats? I made this costume so affordable by using a makeup palette I already had in hand, cat ears headband that I got from Forever 21 for $5 [here] and my $2 Elf eyeliner [here]. This costume took less than 10 minutes to achieve and I think it looks so FELINE 🐱 Thanks to Neutrogena, #ImSkinClearTo Halloween it up!

2. Skull

This skull tutorial is easy for everyone from beginners to pros. This look is so versatile and you an use it for any character that is dead… literally 💀

You an use my tutorial I put up recently for some basic inspiration and twist it to your own liking!

I’ve seen so many cools interpretations, from James Charles Neon Skeleton to Nicole Guerriero Electric Paint skeleton looks, so have fun with it!

3. Gangster Clown

Another easy look you can achieve with eyeliner is a Gangster Clown. Start off with a smokey eye, add some triangles with vertical dots near your eyes, add a creepy smile, and you are set!

4. Cheshire Cat

This look was unbelievable easy to achieve. You just need white and black eyeliner to create the mouth and whiskers. Add some pink “contour” around the face and on the nose,  add some yellow in the eyelid, and some winged liner to complete this look! Again, adding some Forever21 headbands [here] that are incredible cheap and you are now the Chershire cat!

5. Pop Art

Last but not least is a pop art character. You can create any pop art character you like and all you need is some eyeliner, a bold lip color, and some eye shadow pigments. For my video tutorial, I added white and pink dots to my sad pop art. There’s so many variations of pop art you can do, so get creative!
