How to: Rose Gold Smokey Eye on Hooded Eyes

"Makeup, Makeup Tips, Reviews, Sponsored Posts"

Out of all the colors of the rainbow, my favorite color is rose gold <3 (technically not a color in the rainbow, but you get the gist) I decided I wanted to show you how I got this rose gold smokey eye from the other day and share some eye makeup tips for hooded eyes.   1. Apply neutral crease color To start, apply any neutral color in the crease to act as a transition color. Hooded eyes have less lid space, so the trick with hooded eyes is to apply your crease color above your crease. This ensures your shadows don’t disappear as soon as you open your eyes. You only want color to be applied around the outer v, so make sure to sharpen the line by applying tape or using a…

Here are my five tips to make YOUR special day makeup last all day! Layer Makeup My number one tip for long lasting is to layer your makeup. HUDABEAUTY Rose Gold Palette | Swatches + 3 Looks!

"Blog, Makeup, Reviews"

HudaBeauty Rose Gold Eyeshadow Palette | Mini Review I recently got the HudaBeauty Rose Gold eyeshadow palette over Valentine’s Day and was super excited to try out the “textured” eyeshadows and incorporate them in different looks. Shipping was excellent considering that this palette was international and was all the way from Dubai!  My palette was ordered on February 4th, shipped on February 8th and received February 13th right before my trip. This palette is pricey with a price point of $65.00 (luckily the BF got it <3)! Overall, this has been my go-to palette from everyday to night-time glam! All the eyeshadows are consistently pigmented and super soft. My favorites are Angelic, Moon Dust, Henna, and Coco. Sometimes I do have to reach for other palettes for transition crease colors as the only transition…

DERMA E | Review + Get UNReady with Me!

"Reviews, Sponsored Posts"

I partnered up with DERMA E to give you my thoughts on their Purifying collection, so if you would like to know more please read on! Also, if you want to see a close up of the products I’m reviewing today in action, check out my video link here! The DERMA E purifying collection was created to clean and restart the skin from the daily build up of oil, sweat, bacteria and micro-pollutants on skin and clog pores that can lead to acne, blemishes, and wrinkles. Yikes! This collection is specifically designed for oily, active or urban skin types. I am not oily (unless in high humidity), but am actively out and about everyday and am definitely exposed to pollution and stress that can cause breakouts. Heads up: DERMA E recently went through a repackaging…

Mikasa Beauty: Oval Brushes TESTED

"New Year, New You Series, Reviews, Sponsored Posts"

I have been seeing Oval Brushes around YouTube and decided to make a blog post about the my thoughts on Mikasa Techni Oval Brushes! Oval Brushes are versatile brushes that are rounded off for the purpose of flexibility and easier blending. Compared to standard brushes, oval brushes are curved enough to get into tight spaces on your face like around the nose and under the eyes. From my understanding, Artis was one of the original companies who came out with oval brushes exclusively a couple years ago and offers these brushes at a high end cost (each individual brush costing around $40-$80). Nowadays there are many different low and high end companies  who have adapted and sell oval brushes! This is my first time ever trying Oval Brushes, so if you would like to learn more about…

Eye Shapes Before we begin: If you don’t know what eye shape yours are (it took me forever to really know), Smashbox has an awesome video that helps you determine which eye shape you have, click below! If you have (or just have) discovered you do indeed have round eyes like me,  you would know the problem of when your eyeliner and eye shadows disappears behind your eye the second you look up. January 2017 IPSY Bag: WORTH IT?!

"New Year, New You Series, Reviews"

For the last segment of New Year, New You, I am reviewing IPSY’s January 2017 glam bag.  Overview If you didn’t know, IPSY is a subscription service that offers 5 sample products at $10.00 with free shipping. When you first sign up for ISPY, the service starts you off with a questionnaire to get to know what your preferences are. It asks you a variety of questions like what your skin tone is, how comfortable you are with makeup, etc. Fun Fact: I actually signed up for IPSY in the 5th of December because I was really interested in the December glam bag. What I didn’t know is when you first sign up for IPSY, you are actually added to the wait list and can not be subscribed to the bag until they have confirmed with you that…
